Last Day Of Get Fit!!!!
I cannot believe that we are now at the end of Get Fit!!!!!! I have learned so much from the course and from Ms. Phillips. I have learned about how much I need to care of my physical fitness, and how important it is to maintain it. We've done so much this year, like Zumba, Tae Kwon Do, dancing, Aquafit, hot yoga, snowshoeing, and maybe even more(I completely forgot). I feel that I've progressed a lot since February, and a whole lot since grade 8. My fitness has taken a huge leap, and I feel way better when exercising as well. To say it on a certain scale, I used to be at a 6 on the beep test; now I am finishing with a 7.5. With all of these factors and outcomes in mind, I feel like I deserve an A (90%) because of my improvement, the hard work I've put in, and participation.

Get Fit Midterm Reflection
We are about halfway through the semester and Get Fit!! I feel like I actually made a really good decision to take this course instead of regular P.E. I have a lot of things to talk about, like:
Participation— I feel that I participate a lot in Get Fit. I've had some great days, like field trips and a lot of the fitness we do. I do feel like I work really hard in this class, but not really as hard as I want to. That's where I usually give into my lazy instincts, which sometimes stops me from getting where I want to be. My fitness, health, and friends really motivate me to work hard, and the image of me sitting on my couch all fat and those other beautiful details usually also gets me up on my feet!
Field Trips— Some of the most enjoyable field trips we've had this semester for me are the Taekwondo field trip, dancing, going to Sullivan Elementary, and ice skating! I really hope we can go do all of these again, and for where we are going back, I absolutely CANNOT WAIT. The dancing was a new(-ish) experience for me, because I have taken dance classes when I was little, for ballet and hip hop and stuff, but I've never tried kinds like lyrical and the style of dance we did at Panorama School of Dance.
Fitness— I feel like I've improved a bit in fitness, I'm almost where I want to be in beep tests and everything else, but not quite there yet. I want to be able to withstand being in the position where I want to just quit during a fitness activity for longer than my usual time. For example, running. I can usually handle it when I'm going at a reasonable pace for several minutes or so, but then when you just want to stop and curl up into a ball; that's the tricky part.
Important Events— The most important event for me this semester in Get Fit was definitely breaking that board at our Taekwondo field trip. I actually felt SO supercool and confident in front of everyone, and whenever I think about it again, I still feel so proud of myself. I felt like it I'd really done something huge to impress my peers, and I still cannot express how good it felt.
Overall, I feel like I deserve an A, or at least a really high B, to represent my progress in Get Fit. In terms of percents, I would love to say 100%, but realistically, I'd say somewhere around 89% or 90%.

Interim Report
So Far....
I think I've done pretty well in the one month we have been in Get Fit. I have pushed myself in the various fitness activities we have done this semester, and I always try to go to my highest potential. I try to meet my daily goals, and I'm always respectful and prepared for class by bringing my PE strip everyday. When I'm unable to participate, I always bring a note. Overall, I believe I deserve a G in work habits. GO GET FIT!!!!!!!!π

Field Trips-Ice Skating & Snowshoeing!!!!!!!!πππ
Yesterday and Monday, we went on two field trips. Monday, we went ice skating. That was super fun, because ice skating, in the words of Barney Stinson, IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, Miss Mizzljo (Amanda) did not comeπͺ. It was pretty short though, sadly.
Yesterday, we went snowshoeing! It was really fun, and it was a pretty intense workout. But the snowshoes made walking uphill SO DIFFICULT!!!!!!!!! Overall, I had so much fun, and I definitely want to do this again.

Get Fit- Post #1 :D
***I just saw that this was saved as a draft, sorry for the late post!!!!!***
When I first signed up for Get Fit, I knew we would be doing more fitness than usual, my main reason of choosing this course. But when we actually STARTED, I realized how much I underestimated it. I'm really glad I chose this instead of just regular P.E., because I really needed to get into shape. I actually don't like fitness very much, but now I'm really looking forward to it, because I know t will help me in the future. I'm hoping to get at least a 9 or 10 on the beep test now too.

Woo Kim Field Trip :D
So yesterday, our Get Fit class went to Woo Kim Taekwondo field trip today. It absolutely ROCKED. Reasons? First off, I actually go there (green belt blue stripe), and second off, I got to scare my friends. They have now realized never to mess with meπ. Just kidding, but Jestinne actually almost cried. At the end, Master Thornton (the owner and my teacher) had me demonstrate a wooden board break. I broke the board doing a back kick, but after I realized I should've done a flying sidekick, because I feel more impressive when I use that technique. Either way, I felt really proud in front of my friends and the other girls in my class. When we were walking back to school, Kaitlin and Esther literally pointed to the stand part of the metal fences in the back parking lot and yelled, "SHWETA, BREAK IT!!!" I know we are going back to Woo Kim for a second time in two weeks, but I really hope we can a few more times in the future. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of this tripπͺπͺ, but I definitely will for the next trip!!!ππππ
